A modern and strong infrastructure is necessary for students to get cutting-edge knowledge and experience. The atmosphere promotes an excellence in teaching that results in high academic achievement and enables students to realize personal excellence at all levels. The college boasts of the latest facilities keeping in view the advancements in the field of education.
The College offers a spacious, well stocked, fully computerized open shelf library. The library has about 34,854 books and subscribes to 17 periodicals. Besides, it receives 13 news papers including English, Hindi and Punjabi. Library and reading room are kept open for all students from 9 am to 4 pm on all working days. The library is computerized and issue and receipt of books is carried out through the use of laser scanner. All books have been automated with bar codes. For meritorious and economically backward students, book bank facility is provided. Every year, more than 130 students are benefitted through this book bank. The library also provides books to students during examination time with the collection of deposit money. The library has its own copier to get the photocopies of the material which is required in seminars/conferences or for research work.
The college has a physical education center with qualified physical education teachers and coaches. The college has facilities for various games and sports. It has a full-fledged gymnasium, playfields and courts for Handball, Kho-kho, Basketball, Volley ball, Badminton, Table-tennis, Yoga and atheletics. The college has lush green lawns surrounded by Royal Palm trees and seasonal flowers. Earthen pots with blossoming flowers and green plants are placed along the paths. Special efforts are made to keep the environment pollution-free and clean.


NSS Unit is existing in the college since 1982. The college has two NSS units in which 250 students are enrolled. The main objectives of these units is to develop the attitude to serve the society, to start drives against social evils and to bring awareness regarding deadly diseases like AIDS, Cancer etc. NSS units prepare the students to achieve the following objectives. To develop among students consciousness for social service To enhance Socio-Economic awareness and encourage the students to impart the same to the illiterate community of the area adopted. To maintain communal harmony

Our NSS Cadets have brought laurels to the college by winning many prizes in inter-college competitions and by receiving the most coveted prize - the Best NSS Cadet of the Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and by participating in Republic Day Parade at New Delhi.


NCC units of Haryana Girls Batallian was started in the college in 1994. Students are sent to attend DCAT, ATC, NIC and all attachment camps where they learn discipline, self confidence and love for nation. At present, about 50 students are enrolled. The college has the honour of sending its students in T. Sc., pre R.D. camp and in Republic Day Parade at New Delhi. Many of our students have passed the B and C certificate exam conducted by 1 HAR GIRLS BN NCC, 108 , The Mall, Ambala Cantt.
